The Irish domain registry (IEDR) have today announced an improvement to the frequency
of their root zone updates , in the past this has only occurred twice daily, mon-fri.
This has now been improved to four times per day 10.00 + 12.00 + 17.00 and 22.00 , seven days a week.
This will allow for quicker DNS changes and registrations to be made on all .ie domains and is a major improvement on the current set-up currently being used.
