Dear register365 Customers
As I am sure you are aware, Namesco Ltd bought Register365 in May this year. Register365 is now a trading name of Namesco Ireland Ltd; a company incorporated in Ireland of which I am a Director. My passion, shared by my co directors and team is to deliver award winning services to all our customers and provide online experiences which are both straight forward and cost effective.
Since May, we have made a number of improvements including extending telephone support hours to 7 days a week and removing the premium rate telephone number.
We removed the LiveChat service too, as it was difficult to provide a consistent level of service during it’s operational hours and we were sure we could offer a better service instead over the phone by providing both fast answer times and quick resolutions.
We have also been working hard behind the scenes on two very important projects for all Register365 customers.
The first is the migration of your customer records to our back office database system, which has served effortlessly as our backbone since 2001. This will enable us to provide a more efficient level of customer service to you and more importantly, give you access to a new online Control Panel.
This migration happened overnight and completed seamlessly and without error. You now have access to a new Control Panel at:
Username: This will be your current username or e-mail address
Password: This will be your current password
If you have forgotten your password, please use the ‘password reset’ facility on the Control Panel login page.
Your new Control Panel gives you more tools to manage your domain names and other products and services through an improved user interface. Importantly, you now have the option to set domain names to ‘auto-renew’, via credit card, meaning you won’t miss those important renewal dates. Also, you can now configure DNS for your domain names via your Control Panel.
Submission of any support tickets should now be done within the ‘Support’ section of your new Control Panel.
Over the coming weeks and months, we will be adding more features to the Control Panel for you to make use of and adding new products and services to Register365.com
The www.register365.com web site also had a minor refresh overnight and you will now notice a greater choice of domain names including many more international domain extensions. Again, the web site will be improved on an ongoing basis.

The second project is the construction of 2 new Web Hosting clusters, exclusively for Register365 customers, in our Data Centre in Dublin. This new platform will provide both Windows and Linux hosting and uses the same Award Winning technology and hardware as those built by Namesco in the UK in London’s Docklands. They will be resilient, redundant and faster than the current hosting platform and will allow us to provide uptime guarantees too.
We plan to complete this project by the end of this year and have all Register365 hosted customers moved to the new platform by early 2009.
We are excited about these updates, as they will provide you with a much smoother way to manage *all* your services via your new Control Panel and support a wider range of services in the near future.
